Some of these logos were commissioned; others were created for portfolio purposes; still others were designed for ‘Illegible Semantics’.

Some are truly original designs; others are redesigns. In the odd case I stayed as close to the original as possible; but most other times I redesigned them from the ground up. I did this either because I was asked to, or because I personally felt like doing so.

Most were happy with my work; some still use my logo to this day. If they’re still around, that is.

Deicide went back to their original logo, once it was settled who was to own the rights over the name and the (original) logo – but I can hardly blame them since theirs is such an iconic logo!

Tools Used

Two exceptions aside (Cardinal and Toxocara), all of the logos below were created digitally; some in Clip Studio Paint, others in Photoshop, still others in ArtRage.
