Because of its slow droning nature, Doom Metal and stoner culture go together like a herb grinder and a glass bong. And so a new genre was born, whose lyrics are often about getting stoned and tripping on acid-laid Kool-Aid.

Logo-wise, nothing quite says stoner and psychedelia like a hazy or cloud-like Death Metal logo. (No joke – this one was actually made by mesh-transforming the Brutal Death logo.) To make it further clear that this music is good for intense couch-sitting and bong-ripping, greens and purples are often used.
